Men with diabetes face higher health risks than women, according to a study involving 25,713 participants aged 45 and above. The research, which included individuals with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, found that men experienced higher rates of cardiovascular, leg/foot, kidney complications, and eye disease, regardless of disease duration. The findings were published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health.
