Skeletal remains discovered in Newark have been identified as Kevin Heise, a man reported missing in September 2022. Heise was last seen on 2 September getting into a blue vehicle in the East Union Street area. The Monroe County Medical Examiner confirmed the identification, and the Newark Police Department and Wayne County Sheriff's Office are continuing to investigate his disappearance and death.
