Nintendo acquires Shiver Entertainment, a porting studio, from Embracer Group for its Switch platform.

Nintendo has acquired Miami-based Shiver Entertainment, a porting studio, from Embracer Group to help bring more games from outside developers to its next-generation Switch platform. Shiver Entertainment was founded in 2012 and has worked on ports for Hogwarts Legacy and Mortal Kombat 1. The acquisition aims to secure high-level resources for porting and developing software titles for the Nintendo Switch.
