Kerala High Court quashed Governor Arif Mohammed Khan's nominations to the University of Kerala senate, ordering him to select fresh nominees within six weeks. The court did not interfere with the nominations of the state government to the same university. The court also clarified that there is no unbridled power vested with the Chancellor while making the nominations in terms of statutory provisions.
