Ghana's petroleum tanker drivers launch an indefinite strike over unmet salary enhancements and working condition improvements.

Ghana's petroleum tanker drivers, represented by the Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union, have announced an indefinite strike due to unsatisfactory working conditions and unimplemented salary enhancements. The drivers claim a pending policy framework, meant to improve their salaries and overall working conditions, has been with the National Petroleum Authority Board since November 2023. The strike will continue until the framework is approved.
