Germany's producer prices fell 3.3% year-on-year in April, accelerating from a 2.9% drop in March, due to lower energy and intermediate goods prices, according to Destatis data. Energy prices dropped 8.2% annually, while non-energy producer prices decreased 0.6% annually but grew 0.3% from the previous month. Capital goods and non-durable consumer goods prices increased, but intermediate and durable consumer goods prices fell.
