Former BlackRock VP, Hamdan Azhar, sues for $20M, alleging he was fired for objecting to a $2M contract awarded to Rightpoint. Azhar claims BlackRock forced him to shut down his search engine, Trend Spotter, for monitoring client discussions about illicit investments, including those in China. BlackRock denies the accusations, stating Azhar was let go for poor performance and unprofessional conduct.
