Fiesta Pilipinas, a cultural celebration promoting understanding of NZ's Filipino population, is scaling up in 2024 due to record-high Filipino migration. New Zealand received over 33,000 Filipino migrants in 2023, making them the second-largest migrant group. The free event on June 8, 2024, at the Auckland Showgrounds will feature Filipino cultural dance traditions and five cultural factions.
