Federal High Court in Akure orders detention of Oba-elect Adebomi for forging academic, national service certificates.
The Federal High Court in Akure ordered the detention of Prince Babalola Adebomi, the Oba-elect of Araromi-Ekiti, on allegations of forging academic and national service certificates. Adebomi allegedly forged a University of Ibadan degree and a National Youth Service Corps discharge certificate in 2008 to secure a position at the University Teaching Hospital in Ado-Ekiti. The case has been adjourned until May 23, 2024, for further hearing.
