Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, announced Abuja's light rail is ready for commercial operations, seven days before its inauguration by President Bola Tinubu. The rail line will be fully open to commuters seeking alternative transportation from the Central Business District to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. The project cost 15 million dollars and was completed within a year, as promised by President Tinubu.
