Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji disbursed N300m in compensation to property owners whose buildings were acquired for the Urban Renewal Project in Ado Ekiti. The beneficiaries were residents of Atikankan, a slum area within the capital city, where an Ultra-Modern Central Business District and Modern Park will be constructed. The governor assured that his administration would not put property owners through unnecessary hurdles before they are compensated.
