EastEnders welcomes Doctors actress Bharti Patel as a new guest character, Maya Houssain. Maya forms an unlikely friendship with cab driver Harvey Monroe, played by Ross Boatman, after their mutual love for football. Harvey, who recently lost friends Mitch Baker and Rocky Cotton, is delighted to make a new friend. Maya's first appearance is on May 29th. Patel is known for her role as Ruhma Carter in Doctors.
