17 dogs, a turtle, and other animals were seized from a home in Coaldale, Schuylkill County due to severe neglect, malnutrition, and untreated medical conditions. Pennsylvania State Police and Coaldale Borough Police executed a search warrant and are working with the Pennsylvania SPCA to ensure the animals receive proper veterinary care. Charges of animal cruelty and neglect are pending against the property owner.
