A crane fire near the Walt Whitman Bridge in Gloucester City, New Jersey, generated large plumes of smoke and was visible from the bridge on Tuesday morning. The fire broke out at around 9:30 a.m. near Gloucester City Terminal on 160 Essex Street, and although traffic was not impacted, plumes of smoke were visible in the South Philadelphia area. No injuries were reported.
