China-Central Asia ties are strengthening through win-win cooperation, with increasing cross-border travel and enhanced trade and economic ties. Last year, the first China-Central Asia Summit in Xi'an set a new platform for cooperation. This year, over 35 relevant activities will be held in Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi'an to celebrate the Kazakhstan tourism year in China. Chinese tourists to Kazakhstan have grown to 217,000 in 2023.
