A Cessna 172 training plane crashed in La Union province, north of Manila, leaving the flight instructor and student pilot injured. The plane took off from San Fernando Airport and crashed into the waters near Canaoay village. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and the Philippine Coast Guard are investigating the accident's cause. The injured individuals were transported to Lorma Medical Center for treatment.
