Jordan Customs Department (JCD) thwarted an attempt to smuggle 800,000 Captagon pills from Syria at Jaber border crossing. JCD personnel found the pills hidden in goods for smuggling and conducted a thorough inspection leading to the seizure of the quantity. The JCD works in cooperation with security services and the Anti Narcotics Department to combat smuggling at all border customs centers.
