Wollongong teacher, Phil Saunders, is facing allegations of touching a student on her bottom and telling another to "sit on daddy's lap." Saunders, 49, is fighting the charges in an ongoing hearing at Wollongong Local Court. He has pleaded not guilty to two counts each of aggravated indecent assault of a victim under his authority and indecently assaulting a person under 16, which relate to two female former students.
