In York, Ontario, near Caledonia, increased police presence responded to reports of gunshots near Highway 54 and Haldimand Road 9 on Sunday. Haldimand OPP, Emergency Response Team, and Tactics and Rescue Unit were deployed. A 56-year-old individual was taken into custody, airlifted to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries from a fire with live ammunition, and police found no evidence of a firearm's involvement.
