74-year-old Coonamble resident John Wall defended his home from two knife-wielding intruders in "ninja suits" who attempted to steal his car. Wall used a broom to fend off the attackers, who locked him out, threatened his wife, and stole his car keys. He eventually chased them off by smashing his car's window with a baseball bat. The case is under investigation by the Orana Mid-Western Police District.
