Sidewalk Astronomy organized a moon-viewing event at Big Bay in Owen Sound on International Astronomy Day. Hosts Steve Ritchie and AnnMarie Rowland set up telescopes for attendees to observe the moon's topography, including craters like Copernicus and Tycho. Inspired by John Dobson, the couple hosts these year-round viewings at various locations, building community and providing a unique, educational experience away from screens and television.
