Soulja Boy's posts came in response to a 12-year-old tweet from Metro, which resurfaced, where he made a jibe at Soulja Boy. On May 12, Soulja Boy took to social media to target Metro and his late mother, who died in a murder-suicide in 2022. He has since issued an apology for his comments.
