Psychologist Maria Cassar was banned for seven years by the Psychology Board of Australia for supplying crystal methamphetamine to a patient and asking others to take urine tests on her behalf to hide her own drug use. Cassar admitted to providing drugs and has not practiced since her suspension in April 2019. The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found her to have engaged in professional misconduct.
