A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning, May 19, in Pitt Meadows. The incident took place on the westbound lane of Lougheed Highway at around 9:30 a.m., prompting a response from police and fire departments. Traffic is down to one lane as police continue to investigate the scene, causing congestion back to Old Dewdney Trunk Road.
