Parramatta Eels have sacked coach Brad Arthur following a poor run of results. The club's board and CEO deemed the progress of the NRL team stalled and felt it was time for a new direction. Arthur, who led the team to the 2022 grand final, has been thanked for his ten years of service. Trent Barrett will take over as interim head coach for the remainder of the 2024 season.
