Pakistan's Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar advised the Islamabad High Court (IHC) not to involve senior government and military officials in the case of missing Kashmiri poet, Ahmed Farhad Shah, stating that the court does not have the mandate to do so. IHC Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani had previously warned of summoning the prime minister and his cabinet if Shah was not recovered, leading to Tarar's response.
