Melville High School hosted the annual Science & Engineering Challenge, with Camden Haven, St Columba Anglican School, and Frederickton Public School winning respective days.
Melville High School hosted the annual Science & Engineering Challenge (SEC), a University of Newcastle initiative founded in 2000 to address skill shortages in science and engineering. Over 120 Rotary clubs, 30 universities and 1000 schools participate, engaging students in hands-on STEM activities. This year, Camden Haven won Day 1, St Columba Anglican School took Day 2, and Frederickton Public School won Discovery Day.
