A man drowned at Boerne City Lake after an afternoon of fishing. Unaware of the underwater elevation change, the man entered deep water and went under. Other guests at the lake were unable to swim to help. A recovery effort began the next morning, and the man's body was found in approximately 8-10 feet of water.
