Lamborghini confirms a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain for the Huracan successor, the LP634 codenamed Temerario. The new supercar's 4.0-liter V8 engine offers 588kW of power and 730Nm of torque on its own, with a 10,000-rpm rev limit. An additional 110kW and 300Nm of assistance is provided by an axial electric motor between the V8 and its dual-clutch automatic transmission, raising the total potential power to almost 700kW. The hybrid system allows for increased performance compared to the Huracan's previous 5.2-liter V10 engine.
