Indian authorities advise Kyrgyzstan students to stay indoors.

Indian authorities have advised students in Kyrgyzstan to remain indoors following reports of mob violence targeting international students, particularly those from South Asia. The Indian embassy is in touch with students in the capital Bishkek and has stated that the situation is calm. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has also advised students to stay in regular touch with the embassy. The incidents of mob violence began after a video of a fight between local students and medical students from Egypt was shared online.
