Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may improve pulmonary hypertension (PH) in women, according to research presented at the ATS 2024 International Conference. Researchers assessed how hormone exposures impact right ventricular function and pulmonary vascular disease in PH. Study participants with G1, G2, G3, G4 or G5 pulmonary hypertension showed potential improvements in PH and right ventricular function.
