Former West Indies coach Phil Simmons joins Papua New Guinea's T20 World Cup team as a specialist coach.

Former West Indies all-rounder, Phil Simmons, joins Papua New Guinea's coaching setup as a specialist coach ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, starting in June. Simmons, known for leading the West Indies to their second T20 World Cup title in 2016, will provide head coach Tatenda Taibu with experience in Caribbean conditions. Simmons has previously coached Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Afghanistan.
