Comms Declare, a climate communications group, has filed a complaint with Australia's consumer watchdog, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), urging an investigation into MasterChef Australia's claims of using renewable gas. The group argues that biomethane and grey hydrogen used in the show are not renewable, low-emission, or commercially viable, and calls on the show's producers to move to induction cooking and phase out the polluting sponsor.
