Celebrated Australian chef Kylie Kwong, known for her innovative fusion of Chinese cuisine with Australian native ingredients, is closing her restaurant Lucky Kwong after 24 years. The South Eveleigh eatery will shut its doors on June 26, allowing Kwong to focus on building relationships with social enterprise and charity organizations. Kwong was a pioneer in incorporating organic, sustainable produce and native Australian ingredients into her Chinese dishes.
