Alphabet invests €1bn in Finland for data center expansion, driven by green energy access.

Google's parent company Alphabet plans to invest €1bn ($1.1bn) in Finland to expand its main data center, driven by the region's access to green energy. This expansion will increase the facility's staff by 100 and participate in a pilot project to use excess heat from servers for district heating.
