Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and her 14-strong entourage are traveling on a taxpayer-funded trip to Las Vegas for an "economic mission" at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). This follows recent scrutiny over the mayor's attendance at the Masters Golf tournament on taxpayers' money. Bowser's office claims the benefits of attending ICSC outweigh the costs.
