South Korea's instant noodle exports hit a record $108.6m in April, surpassing $100m for the first time. This growth is attributed to the rising popularity of Korean culture and food. Ramyeon exports have been steadily increasing since 2015 and are predicted to exceed $1bn this year. Major South Korean maker Samyang Foods Co. saw a 57% increase in sales in Q1, with 75% of its revenue coming from overseas.
