RJD MP Manoj Jha criticized PM Modi and the BJP, accusing them of being "bankrupt of ideas". Jha compared Modi's statement about making the country bankrupt due to their alliance's policies to their own actions of providing financial aid to the poor. He further criticized BJP's multiple ways of potentially changing the constitution. The BJP-led NDA won 39 out of 40 seats in Bihar in 2019, while the Congress won only one.
