Punjab CM orders digitization of land records in province with World Bank's 'Plus Project' involvement.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered the essential steps to be undertaken for the digitisation of land records in the province. The process, being carried out with the cooperation of the World Bank under 'Plus Project', will involve owner-based digitalisation of all neighbourhoods (mouzas) in Punjab. The revenue system will be made transparent through partition of land and parcel document, with the government declaring clear properties from every aspect as 'Green'.
