Wollongong City Council receives plans for a 80-capacity childcare centre in Dapto, providing services for ages 0 to 5.

Dapto could see a childcare centre built for 80 children on two lots in Byamee Street. The Wollongong City Council has received plans for the facility, which will offer 20 spaces for children aged zero to two, 30 for ages two to three, and 30 for ages three to five. The centre aims to provide positive social impacts by offering a needed service and connecting parents/guardians with their local community. The development will have three separate playrooms and a play area for zero to two-year-olds.
