Two occupants of a home-built kit helicopter escaped with minor injuries after a "rough landing" on Uretiti Beach in Northland, New Zealand. The crash occurred around 12.15pm on Sunday, and the helicopter, a Safari model, was forced down on the beach. Emergency services were surprised the pilot and passenger walked away from the crash, with two people taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
