McAlester woman, Francheska Radosevich, becomes first female lieutenant in the city's fire department after 11 years of service. Radosevich's passion for firefighting began when she saw her friends volunteering at a local fire department. After losing her mother to cancer at 18, she decided to pursue a career in emergency services, training at the fire academy and earning EMT and paramedic certifications.
