Masters champion golfer Scottie Scheffler was arrested outside the PGA Championship venue, Valhalla Golf Club, before returning to play in the tournament. Scheffler was charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic signals. He was released and returned to the golf club, where he completed his second-round tee time and improved his overall score to nine under par.
