LAPD officer injured, suspect steals patrol SUV, crashes, and is apprehended in downtown LA.
An LAPD officer was injured when a man stole her patrol SUV in downtown Los Angeles at 12th and Figueroa streets. The suspect drove off, ejecting the officer and causing a crash at Eighth and Figueroa streets. The officer was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was apprehended and taken for arrest processing. The LAPD's Robbery/Homicide Division is investigating the case.
