Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST) at University of Ghana, with French government support, develops plastic waste conversion plant to create high-value fuels & chemicals. Project aims to tackle plastic waste sustainably and create jobs. The first of its kind in Ghana, the plant in Osu, Accra, collects & processes plastic waste that previously entered the sea. IAST seeks partnerships to scale up production.
