25-year-old Mala Papalkar, a visually impaired woman found abandoned as a baby in Jalgaon, India, has made history by passing the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exam. Under the guidance of mentor Shankarbaba Papalkar, she overcame challenges and will begin her career as a clerk-cum-typist at Mantralaya, the Maharashtra secretariat in Mumbai. Her success serves as a shining example of rehabilitation for disabled individuals in India.
