87-year-old retired teacher Beverly Kinney was killed by a Metro bus driver, Deon Willis, who had a suspended license. Willis, 47, has been arrested and is facing five misdemeanor counts of vehicular manslaughter. He was operating the bus on January 11 when he made an improper turn, striking Kinney in a marked crosswalk with the "Walk" signal on. A judge set bond at $50,000 for Willis.
