14-year-old Damien Abenante-Villa, a Chicago teen, was shot dead in Whiting, Indiana while visiting relatives in March. A suspect, 20-year-old Leonardo Nunez, was arrested in connection to the murder. Nunez was taken into custody by the US Marshal's Service without incident and is currently in custody. Whiting Police obtained an arrest warrant by the Lake County Prosecutor's Office.
