Uganda's President Museveni and Kenya's President Ruto are urging a review of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (Atmis) exit plan, citing concerns over terrorism and security in the region. The UN Security Council's roadmap suggests that 4,000 Atmis troops will leave Somalia at the end of June, alongside 5,000 who exited last year, potentially creating gaps for terrorist group Al Shabaab to exploit.
