2016 Topeka triple homicide accused Yanez C. Sanford was found not guilty by a jury on Friday. This is only the second not-guilty verdict in capital murder in Kansas state court history. Sanford was accused of murdering two individuals, one of whom was a pregnant woman, in August 2016 at Fairlawn Green Apartments. Victims Dominique D. Ray and Camrah J. Trotter were found dead after being shot.
